With a lifetime of fishing experience and a passion for guiding others, Captain David White has been a trusted fishing guide on Anna Maria Island since 1999. Born and raised in central Illinois, David grew up surrounded by the fishing lifestyle, learning the ropes in his family's bait and tackle shop. After moving to Florida at 19, he transitioned seamlessly into saltwater fishing, mastering the diverse marine species of Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. More than two decades on these waters have made him an expert at reading the passes where Tampa Bay meets the Florida Gulf — from the tarpon grounds off Egmont Key and Passage Key to the flats around Bean Point and the moving water of Longboat Pass.
In 2015, Captain David launched his charter company, earning a stellar reputation for providing personalized trips that cater to both seasoned anglers and beginners. Fully licensed and insured, he prioritizes safety and professionalism on every trip, ensuring his boat is equipped with top-notch gear and safety equipment. David's deep knowledge of local waters, paired with his friendly and informative approach, guarantees an unforgettable fishing adventure.
When he's not on the water guiding clients, David spends time fishing across the U.S. and raising his three daughters, who share his love for nature and the outdoors.
