The Premier Palmetto Fishing Experience

Palmetto sits just across the Manatee River from the coast, which makes it one of the easiest inland launches to a full day of saltwater fishing. It’s a short drive southwest to our launch beside the Kingfish Boat Ramp on Anna Maria Island, where a seasoned local fishing guide reads the lower Tampa Bay system at a glance.

Once you’re aboard, Captain David White fishes Palmetto anglers through the Manatee River mouth, Terra Ceia Bay, and the flats around Palma Sola Bay, sight casting Snook and Redfish off Bean Point. In season, tarpon fishing for Palmetto groups rolls through the deeper passes and out to Egmont Key and Passage Key, where Tampa Bay meets the Florida Gulf.

Easy Access from Palmetto

We run all trips from one home dock — the public boat ramp at 6398 Marina Way in Holmes Beach, right by the Kingfish Boat Ramp. From Palmetto, FL it’s roughly a 25–30 minute drive southwest via US-41 and SR 64, crossing toward Anna Maria Island so you’re on the water quickly.
